Top secret project!

UprightRobot.com will be going live any week now (depending on how fast I actually get around to building it). I won't bother with details about the company itself, you can go there and read all about it when the time comes.

This post is just a quick chronicle of the birth of the Upright Robot logo.

I've been design contracting for ERGObabycarrier.com for about a year now; during this time I have been redesigning their site for them and helping make it a much more intelligent looking shopping portal than it has ever been.

"A year now", you ask? Yeah a year.  It's been one of those sites that just keeps needing revisions as we dig deeper and deeper into the layers of pages (and it may have suffered from a little of this.. just a little *).  As it stands now, we're about a week or two from launching the new site and I'm excited for the huge amount of design fixes that will be unveiled.

And not a moment too soon! I've been dying to change out the swirly grunge banner for Hryniuk for a long time now; the "hrynocerous" is more fitting I think ;)

Unfortunately this means I have to get all new business cards and tee shirts printed out, due to the new logo.. ah well.

I don't really like most of the 'share this' widgets that are available for plug and play on Drupal, so I just hand coded these ones in that you see up on the top right there.
